Refund & Returns Policy

At Wertz’s Works of Wood, every item is handcrafted with care, attention, and pride. Because most of our pieces are custom-made, refunds and returns are handled on a case-by-case basis.

1. Custom Orders

All custom woodworking projects are non-refundable once work has begun. A great deal of time and materials go into each piece, and they are made specifically to your design and specifications. If there’s ever an issue with craftsmanship or quality, please reach out right away, and I’ll do everything I can to make it right.

2. Ready-to-Ship or Small Items

  • You may request a return or exchange within 7 days of delivery.
  • Items must be unused, in original condition, and returned in the original packaging.
  • The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
  • Refunds are issued once the item is received and inspected.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact me within 3 business days of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. I’ll review the issue and offer a repair, replacement, or refund depending on the situation.

4. Cancellations

For custom projects, cancellations are only accepted before materials are purchased or work has started. Once work begins, the project cannot be canceled or refunded.
